The support Microsoft provides for Office products varies depending on whether it's an Office for home or Office for business product.
Support options for home or business products are as follows:

Office for home products
If your product is listed under the Office for home column in the expandable section below, see the information provided in the following table Support policy for Office for home products.

Office for business products
If you have an Office for business product in the expandable section below, support options are available to Office 365 admins only. Your admin can sign into the Office 365 Admin Center and contact support on your behalf.

Office for home

If your Office product is one of the follow, you have an Office for home product. This can be an Office 365 subscription, or a one-time purchase of Office or individual Office application. These products are usually associated with a personal Microsoft account.
